COVID-19 Information Resources

The Health and Safety of our patients and Staff is our Primary Concern.

Patients can expect new social distancing protocols that may include restrictions in visitors and limited seating in lobbies and waiting areas.
Telephone appointments (tele-health) are still highly encouraged whenever possible and HALO health centers will continue to practice social distancing, temperature checks, mandatory use of masks by staff and patients.

Symptoms of Coronavirus Disease

Patients with COVID-19 have experienced mild to severe respiratory illness

Cough

Shortness of Breath

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.

Seek medical advice if you develop symptoms, and have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or if you live in or have been in an area with ongoing spread of COVID-19.

Covid 19 Testing and Vaccines Available for low-income and uninsured patients

There are no costs for Medi-cal or Medicare patients. If you do not have insurance and/or are low income, your test and/or vaccine may be covered. If you have other insurances, there may be a fee for the Covid 19 test. To find out more, please call our member services center at: 916-642-1867.

You now have the option to make telehealth appointments with your provider in the convenience of your own home for questions on your health or prescriptions in a telehealth visit.
